Halloween Party Berlin 2026: What's Actually Worth It

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, so plenty of Berlin promoters are running the whole weekend, from Friday 30 October through to Sunday morning. There is a lot on and the quality varies a lot. Here is our pick, so you are not stuck in the wrong queue at midnight.

First things first: what kind of night do you want?

Roughly speaking, Halloween in Berlin comes in these flavours:

• Big costume parties with several floors, loads of decorations and music for everyone
• Walk-through horror, where getting scared matters more than dancing
• Club nights and curated events, where Halloween is the occasion and costumes are optional

Know that before you head out and you will save yourself a disappointing night, and usually some money too.

Black & Blood at Roomers Berlin

Full disclosure: Black & Blood is our own event and Red Tree's first night in Berlin. On Saturday 31 October we are taking over the courtyard of Roomers Berlin Steinplatz, Am Steinplatz 4 in Charlottenburg. Dinner for 60 starts at 7 pm. From 9 pm the party runs until 3 am, with house, melodic house, organic house, deep house and techno. At midnight the Red Tree turns blood red, our special for this night.

No pumpkins, no plastic spiders, and the dress code is black and red. A party ticket is 39 euros including a welcome drink. Dinner and party together are 89 euros, including drinks with dinner, and dinner is on request. Over-18s only. Tickets and dinner requests go through halloween.redtree-events.de.

Good for: your crew or a date, if you want dinner and a party in one place and would rather wear a good look than a supermarket costume.

The big costume parties

Kulturbrauerei: visitBerlin calls the Kulturbrauerei party Berlin's biggest Halloween party. Several floors with different music, and costumes are very welcome. A good shout if you are going out as a big group and want variety.

XXL Halloween Party at Gestrandet: On Rolandufer in Mitte, listed on berlin.de as "Berlin's biggest Halloween party". It kicks off at 10 pm on 31 October, over-18s only.

Halloween Weekend at Spindler & Klatt: Köpenicker Straße in Kreuzberg, on 30 and 31 October from 10 pm each night. According to visitBerlin, expect lots of decorations and the big terrace on the Spree, with 90s and 2000s music on the Saturday.

If you want to be scared

The Abandoned Factory: On 30 and 31 October you walk through a series of horror sets in the vaults of an old brewery, according to berlin.de. More experience than party, but the scare factor is real.

The clubs

Berlin's techno clubs often only publish their Halloween programme at the last minute. Resident Advisor gives you the best overview, and you can filter Berlin by date. At the well-known clubs, expect long queues and a strict door, costume or not. Wherever tickets are available, get them in advance.

Tips for the night

• Book early. Lots of Halloween events use price tiers, and the cheapest tickets go first.
• Think about the cloakroom. Big costumes and packed cloakrooms do not mix, and you need room to dance.
• Bring ID. Most parties are over-18s only.
• Plan your route. Getting from Charlottenburg to Kreuzberg on a busy Saturday night takes longer than you think. If you want to do two events, pick ones that are close together.
• Use the whole weekend. Many parties start on Friday, so you can make two very different nights of it.

Our take

For costumes and big crowds, Kulturbrauerei and Gestrandet are the obvious picks. If you want to be scared, head to The Abandoned Factory. For techno, Resident Advisor stays the best source as the weekend gets closer. And if you want Halloween with dinner, good house music and a moment at midnight, you will find us in the courtyard at Roomers on Steinplatz.
